VROOM…  VROOM… Bike Week Is Here!

But You Don’t Have To Be A Biker To Enjoy

First Friday on E. Granada!

 

Our version is to stroll from the Bridge To The Ocean, enjoy art, boutiques, great wine and food and all the specials our merchants have to offer on this special night.

All Free – All Right In Your Own Neighborhood!

 

Here are some of the events we have planned:

 

Ø  Poker Run -  Five of our locations will have playing cards.  Find each location, get a card and when you have five cards, submit your hand at Metropolitan Gallery.  Two players with the best hands will be drawn to receive our merchant gift baskets!

Ø  Pavlina OstaPavlina has been with us before and is a treat to watch and hear.  You can enjoy her talents once again.

Ø  Metropolitan Gallery Show OpeningKarlene McConnell, a nationally known painter, will be on hand as the featured artist.   Her beautiful watercolors and acrylics have been exhibited as well as featured in the publication “Picturing Florida”, where she was selected as one of only 38 artists to be included.  Stop by and meet her!

Ø  Wine Tasting – check out our merchants who specialize in wine for great wine tastings and the best to take home with you! 

Ø  Fred Astaire DancersBack by popular demand,Fred Astaire Studios will be on hand to demonstrate the art of ballroom and Latin dancing at Granada Plaza. 

Ø  Enjoy The Music – Local musicians will once again provide great music both at Granada Plaza and the Shoppes At Oceanside.

Ø  Art, Art, Art! – Emmons Cottage Art Gallery will be showcasing their 15 artists whose work includes watercolor, acrylic and oil paintings,  3-D sculptures, mixed media collage  and artisan jewelry.  Your hosts for the evening will be Ella Lawless and Jesse Cook.

Ø  Food Galore – Before, during or after the stroll, enjoy our many restaurants  for a variety of great food:  Noah’s Market, Peach Valley Café, Hershey’s Ice Cream of Ormond Beach, Lulu’s Oceanside Grill and Larry’s Giant Subs!

 

Ø  Movies On The Halifax – “The Goonies” has been rescheduled to this Friday.  Grab a blanket or chair from your car after the stroll and settle in to watch this adorable movie  starting at 6:30 under the stars at Rockefeller Gardens at the Casements.

Ø  Drum Circle get into the rhythm by visiting Karl Miranda and the drum circle at Fortunado Park.  Instruments provided or you can bring your own.  A relaxing event to enjoy at the beautiful Fortunado Park.  A great way to unwind – sponsored by Angelic Gardens spa located at 115 E. Granada Blvd.
